DESCRIPTION:60% of women who had an abortion said they would not have if they had received adequate emotional or financial support. Women who seek abortions are typically already mothers living in poverty and facing food and housing instability. Churches and non-profits are essential sources of support for these moms – but what can Congress do to help these mom’s choose life? \n\n\n\nJoin us to hear about the prevalence of abortion post-Dobbs\, the factors that contribute to abortion in America\, and how local communities are responding so pregnant moms can make\, and sustain\, their decision for life. Her PLAN is a project of SBA Pro-life America’s Education Fund focused directly on solving the “resource problem” for pregnant women and the local ministries that serve them. \n\nSR-325 Kennedy Caucus Room\, Russell Senate Office Building \n  \nAs Executive Director of Her PLAN\, Autumn Christensen advances the pro-life safety net serving pregnant women and moms with young children. Marjorie Dannenfelser\, Autumn and the Susan B. Anthony Pro-life America leadership team launched Her PLAN in 2020 to support the wide range of organizations that meet the medical\, social and material needs that lead women to resort to abortion. Under Autumn’s leadership\, Her PLAN has experience tremendous growth including staff and programming in nearly a dozen states\, and a directory of vetted\, local resources spanning 29 states. Prior to joining the SBA staff in 2017\, Autumn worked on Capitol Hill for 15 years including over a decade with the Congressional Pro-life Caucus. Autumn is a graduate of Covenant College with degrees in Business and History.

You’ve sprinted through a full fall\, poured yourself out through the holidays\, and returned to classrooms that need you steady\, present\, and clear—just as the long stretch toward spring begins. \n Jesus sees that weight. \n When the disciples returned from their work—tired\, overwhelmed\, and full of stories—Jesus did not give them another assignment. He said\, “Come away by yourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.” (Mark 6:31) \n Educators in Prayer is our way of making space for that invitation. \n On Sunday\, January 25 from 12:30-2 p.m.\, we’re inviting teachers\, school staff\, administrators\, early childhood educators\, homeschool parents\, and all who serve students in any capacity to stay after the 11 am service for a simple lunch and a guided time of prayer. \nThis is a moment to pause.\nTo be prayed for.\nTo let God meet you in the middle of your work and quietly help you reset. \nIf you’re weary\, you belong here.\nIf you feel alone in your school\, you belong here.\nIf you’re carrying students\, families\, systems\, and expectations on your shoulders\, you belong here. \nCome as you are.
