SUMMARY:Emergency Summit on Crimes Against Christians
DESCRIPTION:Co-Hosted by Senator Josh Hawley\, Congressman Riley Moore\, Gia Chacon (Founder\, For the Martyrs)\, Sean Feucht (Founder\, Light a Candle Global) \nWHAT:\nThe Emergency Summit on Crimes Against Christians will bring lawmakers\, survivors\, experts\, and faith leaders together for a high-stakes national briefing on the escalating violence facing Christians around the world— most urgently in Nigeria\, the deadliest nation on earth for believers. \nCo-hosted by Senator Josh Hawley and Rep. Riley Moore\, this convening will spotlight the crisis\, elevate survivor testimony\, and rally support behind Rep. Moore’s Nigeria legislation and the joint Hawley–Moore bill. It is a decisive moment for Congress to confront the reality that Christians are being targeted\, abducted\, and killed for their faith\, and to establish the moral and legislative groundwork for forthcoming White House engagement on this issue. \nWhy Now:\nChristian persecution is accelerating\, especially in Nigeria. \nThousands of Christians have been murdered this year alone. Churches burned. Families displaced. Women and children abducted. Nigeria remains the epicenter of anti Christian violence worldwide. \nCongressional leadership is building momentum. \nRep. Moore’s Nigeria bill and the joint Hawley and Moore legislation represent the strongest Congressional push in years to confront this crisis. This convening gathers the coalition needed to move them forward. \nA unified national response is taking shape. \nFaith leaders\, survivors\, advocates\, and members of Congress are aligning around a shared mission. This convening prepares the public narrative and the policy foundation for what comes next at the White House. \nDesired Outcomes:\n\nNational coverage that identifies the killing of Christians as targeted violence carried out because of their faith and recognizes this pattern as a form of crimes against humanity\, with Nigeria named as the deadliest country for Christians.\n\n\nPublic pressure on Congress to advance Rep. Moore’s Nigeria bill and the Hawley and Moore legislation\, with clear expectations for movement and next steps.\n\n\nSurvivor testimony that documents these faith targeted crimes in detail and gives lawmakers the grounding and moral urgency needed to act.\n\n\nA defined coalition of senators\, representatives\, and faith leaders who publicly commit to confronting Christian Persecution and supporting concrete legislative action.\n\n\nA clear narrative that highlights the President’s steps to date and positions the forthcoming measures as the natural and necessary continuation of America’s response to crimes against Christians.

SUMMARY:40 Days for Life
DESCRIPTION:40 DAYS FOR LIFE – September 24 – November 2 \n40 Days for Life is the largest internationally coordinated pro-life mobilization in history\, helping people in local communities end the injustice of abortion through a focused 40-day campaign of prayer\, fasting\, and peaceful presence. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin our The Falls Church Anglican group and those from other churches as we gather peacefully and legally on the public sidewalk outside the nearby Falls Church abortion center. Pray for the estimated 2\,000 innocent lives lost at this location every year.  Offer help to women and men caught up in the lies of the abortion industry (there are several excellent pregnancy centers nearby).  A friendly face and tangible support can save lives\, both physically and spiritually. \nFormer abortion workers report that when you simply show up to pray\, the no-show rate for abortion appointments goes as high as 75%.  As a 40 Days participant\, you can stand quietly and pray\, hold a sign\, and/or offer help to those entering the building.  There is a role for everyone. Watch this short video here. \nTFCA group meets weekly during 40 Days – \nSaturdays\, 9-10am – Sept. 27\, Oct. 4\, 11\, 18\, 25 \nTuesdays\, 2-3pm – Sept. 30\, Oct. 7\, 14\, 21\, 28 \nClosing Prayer – Sunday\, Nov. 2\, 3:00-3:45pm\, with Rev. Neal Brown \nWhere:  900 S. Washington St. (Rt 29)\, Falls Church.  Parking available on Woodlawn or Marshall Streets on the other side of Rt 29.  Do not park in the building’s parking lot. \nPray on the public sidewalk anytime or join TFCA’s group.  If you have any questions\, please contact Peggy Aderton at tfcafl@gmail.com.  Pro-life signs and “nearby help” leaflets provided.   Learn more about 40 Days for Life here.
