Join the Coalition of Catholics Against Antisemitism for a conversation with emerging young leaders who are helping shape the future of Jewish-Christian relations.
At a time when antisemitism is rising on college campuses and many young people are searching for meaning, community, and moral clarity, a new generation of Catholics and Jews is building friendships grounded in faith, mutual understanding, and a shared commitment to human dignity. The reception will start at 6:00PM on July 16Th and the talk will being at 6:30PM.
Moderated by Simone Rizkallah, Director of the Coalition of Catholics Against Antisemitism, this panel will feature Yael Shavelson, Curt Stambaugh, and Colin Reitmeyer.
Curt and Colin are helping launch the first Coalition of Catholics Against Antisemitism campus chapter at Franciscan University of Steubenville, marking an important milestone in the effort to equip young Catholics to confront antisemitism and strengthen Jewish-Christian friendship. Yael, a young Jewish woman and student leader, will share her experience navigating antisemitism on campus and the personal impact that hatred and prejudice can have on Jewish students today.
Together, they will discuss the challenges and opportunities facing Generation Z, the importance of authentic Jewish-Christian friendship, and how faith can serve as a bridge in an increasingly polarized world. The conversation will explore what gives this generation hope and why investing in relationships across religious and cultural lines is essential for the future.
Whether you are Jewish, Christian, or simply a person of goodwill, this event offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from the next generation of leaders and to explore how friendship, faith, and mutual understanding can help build a more hopeful future.
